This workforce development initiative of the California Department of Rehabilitation and other state departments allows multiple partnering organizations to provide a coordinated set of services and supports designed to increase economic self-sufficiency of Supplemental Security Income (SSI) recipients ages 14 to 16 and their families.

CaPROMISE brings a holistic menu of partners and services that could complement an individual or family education and employment plan. As part of this coordination, CaPROMISE could help ensure that participants access quality Linked Learning experience in high school and supportive transitions for postsecondary education and employment.
