Local Control and Accountability Plan

This secondary education initiative of the California Department of Education designates that, under the Local Control Funding Formula for simplifying how educational agencies receive state funding, all Local Education Agencies (LEAs) must prepare a Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP). This plan is required to transition to Local Control Funding, and describes how an LEA intends to meet annual goals for all students with specific activities that address state and local priorities identified in the state Education Code.
