Initiative participants could benefit from engaging in sector-based career pathways established under Career Advancement Academies, Strong Workforce Grants, and other initiatives that develop course sequences coupled with innovative instructional practices and work-based learning. Conversely, administrators of these pathways grant programs could leverage the list identifying participants with prior military experience to encourage higher rates of veteran enrollment.

Making the participant population easily identifiable within community college data could allow for targeted services under each college’s Student Equity Plan.
